Randy Earley had a good day as well, winning the 800 meters and coming in fourth in the 100 hurdles.

Ryan Welch took third in the long jump and second in the triple jump but suffered a back injury and may miss Wednesday’s scheduled meet against George Mason and Central at Central, according to track coach Doug Hunter.

Jeremy Tole finished first in the 100-meter hurdles and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles.

Sophomore Chris Payne scored fourth in two events: the 400- and 800-meter hurdles.

Freshman Jason Waters was second in the mile, registering a personal best of 5:07. He also took third in the two-mile.

Senior Matt Eidson won the mile and two-mile.

For the girls, eighth grader Jessica Arnold was third in the mile, but her score did not count because of her age. Arnold has cdnsistently been placing in distance events this year.

Sherri Thomas, a ninth-grader, was first in the mile.

Amber Earley was third in the 800 meters and third in the 400 meters.
