Eino Siira of Sperryville, president of the local unit of the American Heart Association, recently expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the success of the Healthy Heart campaign.
“We are very pleased with the outstanding success of our current campaign. It’s quite apparent that our neighbors in Rappahannock County still put a high priority on helping our Healthy Heart program. We have achieved our fund-raising goal again. In fact, our goal has been exceeded by several hundred dollars,” he said.
“We are very grateful to the superb team of door-to-door volunteers, to the members of the board of directors who have supported AHA so well and especially thankful for the generosity of our local friends and loyal neighbors. Rappahannock County, once again, has shown its good heart,” said Mr. Siira.
