The Mothering Cooperative and Ki Theatre, with RAAC’s assistance, join together to heighten the excitement of Fodders tack Race weekend by sponsoring what will surely be a memorable musical performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at The Theater at Washington.

Local songwriter/composer Lorraine Duisit will open the show, featuring original tunes on a 38 string Irish harp.

The featured artist, Peter Kater, is a new Rappahannock resident and an internationally acclaimed pianistcomposer.

His new release, “Rooftops,” is playing on national airplay charts across the country. This performance is his hometown debut. Sellouts are not uncommon to Kater, as he captures audiences in major cities nationwide. His music speaks to young and old and its uniqueness cannot be easily categorized.
