Lt. General Daniel Noce has
given the Rappahannock Library a rare and important set of books, War of the Rebellion, the official U.S. war Department records, authorized by Congress in 1867, to be distributed on a very limited basis including one set to each state. Two hundred volumes are concerned with land auctions of the armies; six volumes are on naval action.
