Katie James
Mrs- Katie Marie James, 61, oi Marianna, Florida, formerly ol Amissville, died Tuesday, April 16 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester B. James.
Mrs. James is survived by two sons, Carl L. James of Amissville and .David B. James of Culpeper; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Marie Goss of Marianna, Florida; two sisters, Virginia Gears of Wharton, Maryland and Mary Davis of Centreville, Maryland. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Mrs. James was a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church and the Amissville Fire Dept. Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20 at Found’s Culpeper Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Weems officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were A1 Harrup, Paul Poling, Woody Sheads, Jimmy Colvin, Bobby Scott and E.G. Hackley.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Amissville United Methodist Church, Rt. 1, Box 3K or the Amissville Fire Dept.
