The Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Flythe of Riley, N.C. attended :hurch services at the Flint Hill and Willis Chapel United Methodist Churches on Sunday. Rev. Flythe is a former pastor of the Rappahannock Charge. They visited among friends in the area and among those in Flint Hill were Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Barbara Gentry and Mrs. Russie Miller.
Visiting Mrs. Arland Welch at her home “Mountain View’’ during the past week were Libby Wharton, Margaret Eastham and Joanne Welch, Billy and Elizabeth. Visiting on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Welch, Ryan and Courtney, Garland Sealock and Dale Welch.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard had as Sunday dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson.
