The National Defense Report, read by Mrs. Philip Brewer, stressed the importance of the Patriot missile system and about the future protection of the United States by the use of interceptors of incoming missiles. Members were urged to buy chances on the lovely shawl, woven at Crossnore School, the profit to go to a scholarship to the Bacone School, an Indian College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The next meeting at 12 noon on May 14 will be a luncheon at Ben Venue in Washington at the home of the Regent, Mrs. Eastham. Mrs. H.T.N.
