Saturday, April 27 is the Washington Baptist Church’s annual spring event, which consists of flowers, crafts, drinks, food, bake sale and Grandma’s Attic. Grandma’s Attic is in need of some good, old or new items such as jewelry, cosmetics, furniture, pictures, household items. If you can’t drop off items at the church call Ruth Clark at 6753608, all donations will be greatly appreciated.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were omitted from the list of those attending a birthday celebration for Richard Simmons on Sunday. We regret the error.
Thursday night dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons at The Country Cafe were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mowery of Oklahoma City, OK. The Mowerys were en route to their home after vacationing on the East Coast.
