Circuit Court Judge W. Shore Robertson sentenced 47-year-old David “Buddy” Pullen to five years in the Virginia Department of Corrections for possession of a sawed-off shotgun. The sentencing took place in Rappahannock Circuit Court April 18.
All but 80 days were suspended, and they will be served on weekends.
Pullen was ordered to undergo two years of supervised probation upon completion of the sentence. The gun was forfeited to the court.
A charge of possession of a concealed weapon was dismissed.
