Developer Jim Epstein met with area farmers at the Washington Fire Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 14, to discuss his vision of a new farming cooperative and agricultural center at Clevenger’s Comer, a proposed neotraditional village at the intersection of U.S. 229 and U.S. 211 in Culpeper.
More than a dozen traditional or organic farmers from Fauquier, Culpeper and Rappahannock counties attended, along with marketing specialists from the American Farmland Trust and the Virginia Department of Agriculture.
