Frances Grimsley Eubank, 81, of Washington died on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at the Autumn Care of Madison.
She was born in Rappahannock County on May 2, 1916.
Mrs. Eubank was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Her parents were the late Joseph and Sally Wince Grimsley.
Her husband was the late John Randolph Eubank Sr. - Survivors include one son John R. Eubank Jr. of Sperryville; one daughter Betty E. Menefee of Warrenton; one brother Robert Grimsley of Strasburg; three sisters Pearl Henry and Etta Nosette, both of Limeton and Audrey Butler of Cascade, Md.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter Mary E. Hudson and two sons Ernest Linwood Eubank and Robert Shelton Eubank.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merlin W. Shorb and Rev. Jimmy Burke officiating.
Burial was in the Flint Hill Cemetery.’
Pallbearers were Allie Huff, Dunnie Eastham, Mike Brown, Bill Pullen, Virgil Payne, James Leake, Bill Smoot and Ed Clark.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department, 10 Firehouse Lane, Washington, Va. 22747.
Clore-Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
