Julie Burke-Myers has been named to the dean’s list at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where she is a senior majoring in theatre arts.
Sixteen Wakefield 7th graders, a record number for the school, have qualified to participate in this year’s John Hopkins Talent Search Program, a nationwide effort to identify those early students who are specially gifted in mathematical and verbal skills.
