“There is not much to do in town,” said Summer Craig, but if the teen group she is working with keep their focus, the town will become more teen-friendly. The group grew this week from four to 10 teens from private and public schools in the county and they are hoping still more will join them next Sunday.
The group this week wrote a short and concise mission statement, “Getting teens involved and making things happen.” They are learning first-hand the process of making dreams a reality, said Carol Lucking, an adult helping the group organize themselves.
