The Rappahannock County Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization will meet Thursday, Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m. in the RCES library. The group will meet with members of the School Board to give input on the future of the schools. The group will also set a date for the Reading Favorites of Rappahannock program slated for February. Healing Arts activities
The following activities will be held at Rappahannock Healing Arts Center located in Sperryville.
Yoga classes will be held Jan. 22 at 9:30 a m. and Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. A free Bodywork for Teens will be held on i. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m.
A herb clinic will be held Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bereavement supporters to meet
Hospice of the Rapidan hosts a bereavement support group from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at the Amissville United Methodist Church on US 211. Anyone who is coping with grief due to the death of a loved one under any circumstances is welcome to attend. This is a community service of Hospice of the Rapidan, and there is no charge to attend. Call 825-4840 to confirm that the group will meet as scheduled.
Chitterling supper planned
Madison County Rescue Squad’s annual chitterling supper will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. Menu consist of chitterlings, boiled or fried, mash potatoes, green beans, corn, rolls, dessert and fried chicken (for the not so brave).
Camp for Cloverbuds scheduled
Youth ages five to eight can learn how to safely protect their families and themselves at the District 4-H Cloverbud Camp: “It’s a Safe World after All,” March 1415, 1998. Classes will include fire and safety precautions; simple first aid and emergency know-how; and D.A.R.e! program materials. Special events will highlight the weekend including a field trip to the National Zoological Park’s Conservation and Research Center.
