Band boosters to meet

The Rappahannock Band Boosters meeting will be held in the Rappahannock County High School Library on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

First Thursday group to meet

The First Thursday Education Support Group will meet Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Jameson Room of the Rappahannock County Library, U.S. 211, Washington. Dr. John Tole, Chairperson of the Rappahannock County School Board will be present to take suggestions, commentary and ideas regarding the future of Rappahannock schools. The group will also review the possible budget for the coming year. Call Susan McCarthy at 675-1101 with agenda items or questions.

RAAC-on-tour to see Riverdance

The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community will sponsor a trip to Wolf Trap to see the spectacular Irish song and dance show, “Riverdance”, at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 5. The bus will leave the Trinity Church parking lot at 6 p.m. The charge will be 30 ($20 for lawn tickets and $10 for bus). Reservations must be made by Feb. 5. Mail checks to RAAC, P.O.
