A children’s selection is excellent; they are all in one place and easily seen. There is also a selection labeled “British,” and another group of Foreign Films.
Current releases are well represented. I have found no movies identified by the current tendency toward excessive violence nor have I seen what I term Hollywood trash. Joyce Kramer selects from new releases with care and discrimination.
The store is open from 12:30 to 6 p.m. daily except for Monday and Tuesday, w hen it is closed. On Thursdays and Fridays, rentals are available until 7 p.m. Miranda Plotnick presides and she knows the collection well. Should the visitor want advice or suggestions, she is ready with a quick wit and discerning viewpoint.
