Maeyer said Luray started hitting more serves in the third game and had some powerful serves. At one point the Panthers almost tied the game but couldn’t catch Luray.
“They played really well overall and only lost three serves. I was very pleased with their play but Luray played well too,” she said. “Districts are right around the corner and we’re very excited about that.”
The game scheduled for this week against Manassas Park has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan 27, and will be at home at 7 p.m. The game set for Monday, Jan. 26 has been rescheduled. The Brentsville game set for Jan. 29 has been moved to Jan. 30 and will also be played at home at 7 p.m.
