Gateway meeting
slated for May 20
The public is invited to the Sperryville Gateway meeting on Thursday, May 20 at the Sperryville fire hall at 7 p.m. David Edwards, who is currently serving as the Director of the Winchester Regional Preservation Office of the Department of Historic Resources will be speaking.
Mr. Edwards is responsible for personnel, accounting, and purchasing matters, and he oversees the architectural and archaeological services provided by the office to the general public. A native of Portsmouth, he received a Bachelor in Architectural History degree from the University of Virginia. He enjoys gardening, reading and playing hand bells in a church choir.
