The U-12 Rapp 2 “Firebirds” continue to be fired up as they remain undefeated through five games. On May 15, the team faced off against Culpeper D at Rappahannock High School.
The Firebirds never let up after the opening kickoff with aggressive defense, teamwork and excellent passing. They led 2-0 at half time. The warm weather did not have a negative effect on the Firebirds as they returned to the field stronger, determined to hold off Culpeper’s offense. The Firebirds shut out the visiting team in a 7-0 victory.
