Rappahannock County
Republican Committee
As Chairman of the Rappahannock County Republican Committee, and pursuant of the Plan of Organization and as recommended anti directed by the Committee, I, Walter Longyear, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 2, 1999 at the Rapjxihannoek County Courthouse starting at 7:30 p.m. for the following purposes:
a. ) Nominating Republican candidates for the office of Board of
Supervisors to l>e voted for in the General Election on
Novemlter 2, 1999; b. ) For the transaction of such other business us may properly come
before the mass meeting.
Qualifications for Participation All legal and qualified voters of Rappahannock County imder the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party ami who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may Ik- required their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may ]>articipate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries cnconi|>assing their respective election districts.
