The town of Washington Architectural Review Board approved three requests and denied a proposed access ramp in its monthly meeting, May 13. All members were present except for Patrick O’Connell.
Church access
Trinity Episcopal Church would like to construct a ramp along the north side of Trinity House, which is directly across the street from the church, for handicapped access.
The board felt that such a ramp, which would zig-zag up to the building, would be an eye-sorer. They rejected this proposal, but approved a couple.of alternatives. These include another sidewalk and a ramp on the south side.
