RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA

PURSUANT to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 7, 1999 at 7:00 pm in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following application:

SE *99-04-05 Elizabeth Lee Harris, owner of 36.17 acres in Piedmont District, zoned “A” Agricultural (Tax Map 37, Parcel 21-G), desires to use this property as a conference center/resort with 15 platform campsites, a lodge with four (4) guest rooms, and future plans for a pool. Use allowed under Section 170-36(D) of the Rappahannock County Code; additional standards in Section 170-65(N). Property had been previously permitted (but not developed) as a campground under previous regulations

A COPY of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 19, 1999 at seven-thirty in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O.
