a Thistle Hill Guest house not far away. We had heard of a Thistle Hill Vineyard in an area known as Mudgee, but we didn’t have time to travel that far.
A phone call determined the innkeepers were at home and we were invited to visit. We had a great time, got the grand tour and were introduced to a kangaroo living on the property. While basically wild, the 15 year old female known as Chloe, will come when called. We were close enough to feed her and have the pictures to prove it.
Next on the trip, a four day stay in Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef and a longer stay in the metropolitan area of Sydney!
