• Mr. Ned Bittinger’s visit to RCES last week was a giant success. Second grader Kerry LeVans, from Mrs. Kelly Estes’ home room, was selected in a random drawing to have her portrait drawn by Mr. Bittinger. What an honor! Many thanks to this wonderful artist for being a part of our Visiting Artist Program.

• We are very grateful to the Rappahannock News for sponsoring The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band concert at RCES last week. The performance was incredible! Amanda Brown, RCHS Band member, was invited to perform with the Band as they played the Sousa march “Pride of the Wolverines”. This was an amazing opportunity for an amazing student musician. We are very proud of this promising student!
