Culpeper County Public Schools will be closed on May 31 for Memorial Day.
The folks at First Baptist Church of Washington invites children and adults who are in need of free clothes to visit their Clothes Closet which will be open May 22 and 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Donations are welcome.

Kady and I enjoyed a little jaunt to Augusta, W. Va. for a cookout at my uncle’s log cabin on Sunday while Randy worked. We had a great time visiting with relatives we don’t get to see very often and the day was perfect for a drive in the country.
