After a three week break, the U-12 Rapp 1 team proved that they had been honing their skills in practice as they met up with the U-12 Culp A team at Rappahannock High School. Culp A’s offense kept the ball in motion, taking it to the goal several times. But Rapp’s defense and goalie were successful in protecting the net. Rapp led 3-0 at the half and came a way with a 4-1 win.
Next Saturday, May 22, the Rapp 2 Firebirds travel to Sisk Field in Culpeper to play Culp A at 9 a.m. That same day, Rapp 1 has a doubleheader in Madison.
