BLACKSBURG, Va.. June 13, 2005 — The following Virginia Tech students were among those honored at the university’s Spring commencement ceremony held May 13 in Lane Stadium. Approximately 5,200 bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. candidates along with their families and friends attended the on-campus ceremony presided by Virginia Tech President Charles W. Steger.
David L. Calhoun, president and CEO of GE Transportation and Virginia Tech alumnus, delivered the commencement address.
David Anderson, Castleton, VA. Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public and urban affairs from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies.
Harmony Pennington Amissville, VA
Pennington received a Bachelor of Sc ience in Business degree (magna cum laude) in finance from the Pamplin College of Business.
