The Rappahannock Cyclones rookie all-star team hosted tournament play Sunday, June 12, facing two games against Madison County, losing the first and pulling out the victory in the second outing.
“This was a great experience for both ball clubs,” said Cyclone head coach Brian Smith, “I feel like we are really coming together as a team.”
In the first game, which Madison won with a narrow, 8-7 lead, both teams got off to a winning start putting three each on the board in the first inning.
