As an example, as a young adult one of my best friends was an older brother. When I finished high school, I went to work for the same company he worked for, and worked directly for him. Nepotism wasn’t a big deal in the plumbing and heating field in 1962.
Charles is a couple of years older than I am, and he wag, and is, extraordinarily gifted. He could manage people, he could manage a huge construction project, and he could and would get the job done. Everybody liked him and wanted to be his friend, and he could fix anything, or so it seemed to me.
