In the June 9, 2005 edition of the Rappahannock News, Hackley’s Store was reported to be over 100 years old. The correct date that the store opened was 1934 and Dorothy Hackley began working there many years later. In an article entitled ‘New eatery opens in Sperryville’ the name in the photo caption should read Melanie Torrance. The Rappahannock Nows regrets these errors.
