friendship, especially after I became a homeowner and there was always something broken or something that needed some type of maintenance. It didn’t matter if it was mechanical, electrical, structural or whatever. He could fix it, iand often did fix it; too often, probably.
Once a neighbor of mine was putting up a new ceiling fan and light in his kitchen. Since I had recently put one up in our house, he asked if I would give him a hand. Sure. No problem. Glad to help.
Now, when I approach something like this, my standard procedure is to mark all the wires, make sure the switches are wired the same, etc., etc., and it usually works out pretty well. This time, however, when I got to the neighbor’s house, all the wires were hanging Out of the ceiling and out of the three-way switch boxes and nothing was marked or coded as to where it went.
