GIS ANALYST
Mapping and Geographic Information
Develops and manages GIS applications. Supports the creation, maintenance, and usage of GIS data by both technical and nontechnical users. Writes GIS computer programs and/or edits existing programs in support of application development. Maintains quality control and assurance and thorough documentation. Develops training materials and conducts training. Determines and adjusts directory structures and user permissions as needed. Monitors system usage and provides hardware and softwan support as required. Bachelors degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems. Computer Science or related field plus 3 years GIS experience, including 6 months of project management. Masters degree with considerable experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcINFO, and VP, preferred.
