make sure that renovations were completed under the guidance of historic preservation agencies. Of course, they did have to add some modern touches for the comfort of their guests, including new bathrooms and a beautifully appointed kitchen with stainless steel and butcher block counters.
The Ordinary now has five guestrooms, each with a private bath and each with its own comfortable sitting area out on the wrap-around porch that surrounds both stories of the building. The rooms, which are named after herbs such as sage, thyme, oregano, and lavender, are decorated with antiques and four of the guestrooms have their own fireplace or wood-burning stove. The rosemary room is handicapped accessible.
