breast cancer. This is the second year that Davie’s work has been featured in “Stories Run Through Us.” Last year, she debuted her quirky story “Who Done It?”
“Starsong” by Nicole Espinola of Washington, a local high school student. Espinola’s haunting and ethereal play explores the truth of perception over reality.
“Stories Run Through Us” features an ensemble cast, many of whom play multiple roles. The performers are Joyce Abell, Bill Dobrovir, Sara DoddHenze, Dana Dwyer, Pat Hamilton, Patty Hardee, Paula Henry, Miranda Hope, Sharon Kilpatrick, Maddie Kopjanski, Frank Murray, Ronnie Pelletier, Adam Rhein, Bruce Sloan, and Laura Wheatley.
Many of the performers have appeared in other Ki Theatre productions, including last year’s “Stories Run Through Us” and the “The Shepherds’ Play.”
Patty Hardee, resident of Flint Hill and co-creator of “Stories Run Through Us,” is also directing “The Medicine of Belief,” “Starsong,” and My Sister’s Hair.” She has a background in theatre and comedy.
Joyce Abell of Woodville, well known to the Ki Theatre community as the producer and director of Ki’s popular “No Ordinary Person” series, is directing “ShippingNSeamen.”
