The Rappahannock Convalescent Loan Closet would like everyone to know they are here to help. Since 1987 they have been providing, free of charge, an array of items useful to those who are convalescent from surgery, an accident or old age. They have wheelchairs, hospital beds and mattresses, shower benches, raised toilet seats, commodes crutches, canes, walkers and more.
Many of these items are both quite expensive to buy and are often only needed for a few months. The Loan Closet fills an invaluable role by providing these for free to any and all who need them. Loans are for three months and renew
