Catherine H. Warner Dennis of Castleton, died June 4 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
A funeral was held on June 10 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville with Rev. Michael E. Tinsley of Madison officiating. Interment was in the Church cemetery.

Robert Murphy “Poppa D” Dodson, Sr., 81 of Midland, VA died June 10, at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
He was born Sept. 9, 1923 in Viewtown, a son of the late George Earnest Dodson and Neva Florence Nicholson Dodson and from a family of fourteen brothers and sisters.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter- Karen Renee Dodson.
