Kindergarten teacher Stephanie Pressler had her famous “Frisbee dogs” on hand; the Drama Club provided a fortune-teller; Pre-Kindergarten offered delicious hot food and Kindergarten sold refreshments; the fourth grade challenged visitors to egg races; first grade did a bean bag toss; Silvana Ruckman presented a “Spanish challenge” with a ball toss called La Granja; a popular new addition was Yearbook’s creative mini-golf course, and eighth grade offered not only basketball but also a hands-on science project for the budding young scientists in the crowd.
The weekend was capped by a prep school dance on Saturday evening, with an autumn theme.
In observing all the activities, head of school Kathleen Grove noted, “It is such a pleasure to see so many smiling faces, covering so many generations, as we celebrate Homecoming and the beauty of Rappahannock County in the fall with our families, friends and neighbors.”
