Melissa Brackenridge has opened her own shop called Shear Designs.
From the results of her .grand opening which was held on Monday, October 10, she is •off to a successful start. - For Brackenridge, life has come full circle, bringing her dream to Amissville, with a business that is more than a just a job, but a career she ‘loves.
Coming up
with a name
Brackenridge wanted to give her shop a name that would stand out and be noticed. She had come up with several names and when she •couldn’t decide she let fate take its course. She put all the names in a hat and pulled out the elegant winner - Shear Designs.
Before embarking on her own business, Brackenridge worked with Artistic Professionals in Warrenton for 15 years.
