October 28: RLEP Annual Meeting
On Friday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP) will hold its Annual Meeting at the Washington Fire Hall, to which RLEP members as well as the general public are cordially invited. This year's Annual Meeting will be dedicated to RLEP's celebration of its 35th anniversary. The business portion of the meeting will consist of a brief presentation of the organization's history, past achievements and future goals; also, several new candidates to the Board of Directors will be elected. But the major part of the evening will be devoted to enjoying good conversation and food and beverages among members and friends of RLEP. The complimentary food will consist of delicious appetizers and desserts supplied by Rappahannock County eateries.
