Skills and Commercial Baking Cake Decorating competitions at the State Fair. All five competed in the Advanced category, a new delineation this year for students enrolled in Culinary Arts II classes. Senior Rebecca Oyster came in second place in the knife skills competition, while senior Tiffany Puffenbarger took the second place honors in the cake decorating competition. First time competitors Ashley Arnold, Ethan Russell and Austin Howard placed 7th, 8th and 9th respectively. Congratulations to the RCHS team.
RCES Construction/Maintenance Update: Work on the computer lab in the front of the school is complete and our technology staff is hooking up the computers. Most AC units are installed. Also, the primary wing and cafeteria roofs have been repaired.
