Annual Fairytale Walk

Come and join Hearthstone School for its Annual Fairytale Walk on Friday, October 28 beginning at 7 p.m. Parents, students and teachers will act out their favorite fairytales for an evening of fun for the whole family. Fresh apple cider, home-baked cookies, and a community bonfire will follow the fairytale walk. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes! A $5 donation per family is requested. October 29: Homecoming

The Directors of the Scrabble School Preservation Foundation will sponsor the First Annual “Scrabble School Homecoming” to be held at the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church in Scrabble on October 29, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Activities will include a picnic at Mount Lebanon with entertainment provided by local music groups. Tours of the old Scrabble School building will be conducted. This event will be a fun time with food, music and memories. Donations will be accepted for the food with all other activities free. October 29: Fall festival

The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be having their first Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 29 at the Sperryville Fire Department from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be crafters, vendors, music, hayrides, face painting, food and antique cars.
