November 5: RAA/RCB Fall Fun Fait
RAA/RCB Fall Fun Fair will be held at Stuart Field in Amissville on Nov. 5th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rent your space for crafts, yard sale items, home-based business with table provided by RAA. Cost $25 with table provided by RAA, $20 without table. Spaces are limited, reserve by Oct. 29. For information and details call 937-7900 or email raarcb@yahoo.com. Activities for the day will be moonbounce, face painting, music. Plenty of food and drinks, • chicken, burgers, BBQ, hot dogs will be available. There will be 50/50 raffle and more. Rappahannock Studio
and Gallery Tour
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) presents “Artists of Rappahannock Studio and Gallery Tour on November 5-6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rain or shine. You are invited to tour the studios of 11 artists and visit 10 participating galleries in this first, of what is hoped to be an annual two-day art festival. Tour headquarters will be the Washington, VA Fire Hall with driving tour information available. Admission is free. A suggested $10 donation goes to RAAC. 4-H Chili Cook fundraiser
Do you think you have a chili recipe that is the best? Do all of your friends and family love your chili recipe? The Rappahannock County 4H Livestock Club is inviting everyone to participate in their 4-H Chili Cook-Off to be held at th« Rappahannock County High School on Sunday November 6th from 2-6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to both the participants and winner of the best chili in Rappahannock County. If you would like to be a participant, please contact Hazel Zinn-Day at 937-3185. Participant spaces are limited. Those performing are Cliff Waldron and the New Shades of Grass, The Shenandoah Travelers. Adult tickets $10 in advance and $12 at the door, students $5 and kids under 5 years old free.
