Mayor Eugene Leggett and his wife Clarissa attended the Open House held at the Rappahannock News on Sunday afternoon. “Everyone greeted us so enthusiastically," said Mayor Leggett who rode in the first ever Holiday Parade along Main Street earlier that day. “It was wonderful.” Another visitor to the Rappahannock News on Sunday was the paper’s publisher, Arthur “Nick” Arundel who came along with his wife, Peggy, and two of their canine companions.
