Position to manage diverse senior programs including con* gregate and homebound meal programs, ami senior adult recreation programs with the Area Agency on Aging, in Leesburg, VA. Duties include planning, developing, implementing, and supervising programs for senior citizens. Meets Department management plan, budget, and compliance objectives. Ensures compliance with federal, state and county requirements. Provides supervision and training for staff and volunteers. Manages facility and related customer service issues. Coordinates special projects and program events, and conducts outreach activities. Work schedule is Monday - Friday and may Include occasional evenings and weekends.Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in gerontology, social work or related field, and at least 3 years experience managing programs for senior citizens. Masters Degree preferred. Valid driver's license is required. Must have FlrstAid and CPR certification or be able to obtain it within 90 days of hire. DMV Check.
