Civil War Roundtable meeting

. The Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable’s monthly , dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, December 14,2005 at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Everyone, members and ~ non-members are invited and welcome. , Mr. John Fox will talk on the “Brutal Realities of Wan The .Story of the 35th Georgia Infantry.’’

John grew up in Richmond, VA. He graduated from Washington & Lee University with a BA in U.S. History in 1981. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army for seven years as an armor officer and aviator. While living in Atlanta, GA he was a member of the Atlanta Civil War Roundtable for 13 years. John now lives in Winchester, VA. He is advisory board member of the Shenandoah University’s McCormick Civil War institute and a member of the Museum of the Confederacy and the Civil War Preservation Trust.

When John is not researching Georgia Civil War information, he works as a pilot for American Airlines.

The evening starts with a social time at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by the program. Guests can come just for the program if they wish. For reservations and directions call President Jim Flanagan at 540-439-3549 by Monday, December 12.
