Ruth D. Beddingfield
High School where she graduated in 1942.
Soon after graduation she married a young soldier, Gurthie Beddingfield. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She worked in the office for Dr. Mills and Dr. Ryu and also the insurance office at the Alexandria Hospital and the offices of Dr. Murphy, Thomas and Pekal. After her husband died in 1980, she lived alone for awhile then she went to Maiyland to five with her son. Then she moved to Colonial Beach in a house next to her sister, Lolita. There she lived happily for five years caring for her beautiful flowers and helping her neighbors. After this terrible sickness struck her, she then went back to her son in Maryland and from there to the Holy Cross Hospital where on November 22 she went home to be with the Lord.
