At Second Time Around in Washington, Debbie and Bobby Brown combine custom furniture, refinishing, and decorative painting to create new furniture from rejects.
The Browns go around to yard sales, auctions, and the landfill to get old pieces of furniture. Some are in pretty dismal shape but the Browns see the possibility in the pieces. Hence the name of their store, Second Time Around. Both Browns love rustic country furniture, and since Bobby loves to build, they are comfortable working on these kinds of pieces, bringing back the older styles to live again.
