New Basketball Coach announces camp
Coach Bob Czekaj and the RCHS Basketball Program will hold a Basketball Camp at RCES for Boys and Girls in grades K-5 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on December 3, 10, 17, January 7, 14, 21 and 28. The cost is $25.00 payable to RCHS - Basketball Camp. Register on the first day of camp. Late camp registrations will be accepted after the first camp date.
RCES cafeteria roof repaired
The roof has been patched to protect the students, staff, and the interior of the building. More permanent repairs are yet to be scheduled. Wp are still working to get the responsible parties to pay for the damage.
Students help others
The Rappahannock County High School freshman class is participating in the Appalachia Project through December 16.
Donations of new and unwrapped mittens, gloves, blankets and socks can be dropped off in the school’s library media center. Students will box these items and send them to the less fortunate who live in the Appalachian regions of Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.
