School Board approves RCES Band Room
The School Board met Tuesday evening and approved building a Band Room addition to the new Auxiliary Gym under construction at RCES. The new Band Room had been planned as part of a larger classroom addition that could not be built as part of the construction project due to a high price tag. The $148,205 cost of the 1,200 sq. ft. addition will be paid for primarily with construction bond funds.

Art Show, Woodworking Display, Book Fair at RCHS this Friday, Dec. 9, from 5:308:30 p.m.
The art department will show the work of many of its students. Some items on display also will be available for purchase. Students from the woodworking class will have sample Adirondack-style chairs, tables and footrests on display. Community residents may place orders for these items. The RCHS library media center will host a Scholastic Book Fair during the Art Show. Popular young adult and adult titles, along with posters and software will be available.
