Get ready for an evening full of music and fun.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 14, at 7 p.m. The Rappahannock County High School Concert Band, Chorus and Jazz Ensemble will get you in the mood for the holidays with music and song.
The students have been learning new music and preparing solos under the direction of Matt Yonkey and Lynne Fournier. The two programs will share the proceeds from the requested admission of $3 for adults and $1 for students.
The concert will be held in the auditorium but please plan to arrive early for good seats and to browse the auction items before the concert.
There will be a wonderful Silent Auction and Raffle before and after the concert packed with a great variety of items. There will be many theme trays and baskets as well as a sculpture created by Jeff Rechin and a 45-minute bi-plane ride offered by Mark Allen.
For you sweet thing lovers, there will be a delicious dessert donated by Howie Swaim from Cheesecake.com
